Research projects

From millimetre-wave antenna technology to operational space systems

Selected competitive research projects, European programmes and industrial collaborations developed from 2013 to the present in satellite communications, non-terrestrial networks, millimetre-wave hardware and space-based aircraft surveillance.

My project portfolio reflects a progression from specialist antenna research to the leadership of complete research programmes connecting electromagnetic theory, experimental hardware and aerospace systems.

The projects cover low-loss waveguide technologies, electronically steerable arrays, multibeam satellite antennas, high-altitude platforms, industrialisable LEO payloads and the reception of aircraft surveillance signals from space.

They have been supported by European institutions, the Spanish State Research Agency, the Generalitat Valenciana, the European Space Agency, universities and major aerospace companies.
